What is this journey about?
For months, we kept coming across images of a city that looked almost too extraordinary to be real. We looked into it. Its name is Chongqing. From then on, the question was no longer whether we would go, but how we could make the experience accessible to others. That is how Next Level's new city journey was born.
A city you need to see once in your life
Remarkable by day. Almost unreal by night.
Chongqing is one of the world's largest and most distinctive cities: steep hillside districts, roads running above one another, layered bridges and lights meet where the Yangtze and Jialing rivers converge. The on-location experience spans seven days and six hotel nights; the full travel dates are September 23–30, 2026. Alongside the shared activities, there is room to discover the city's completely different daytime and evening personalities. The hosted journey is in Hungarian.

Chongqing 1949
Acrobatics, theatre and contemporary spectacle in one evening
A large-scale production where acrobatics, dance, theatre, lighting and modern visual effects become one immersive experience. This is not a conventional theatre night, but a show that reveals something of Chongqing's own sense of scale.

Evening cruise through the futuristic city centre
The city reveals its most striking side from the river
As night falls, the lights of skyscrapers and bridges appear across the water. From the Yangtze, Chongqing's extraordinary spatial character becomes clear: a city built into the hills, two rivers and layer upon layer of light in one panorama.

Yangtze River Cableway
Chongqing's iconic panorama above the Yangtze
One of the city's best-known symbols carries us above the river in just a few minutes. From the cableway, the steep urban fabric, bridges and Yangtze riverfront come into view from an entirely different perspective – a short experience, but one of the journey's most memorable viewpoints.
