Sama Sama Bali is a 12-day small-group journey with Hungarian guidance. After Ubud, you can choose between the more active Java surf and Ijen volcano program or the gentler seaside pace of Pemuteran. Your enquiry is non-binding; Timi or Alex will speak with you personally before any booking.

Why do we keep returning to Bali?
Because Bali is more than a destination — it’s a feeling. It’s in the afternoon breeze by the rice fields, the scent of morning incense, the hush of the jungle, the smiles of the locals and the sound of the sea. Slowly, you follow that rhythm: not because you have to, but because Bali simply invites you to.

The opening days:
Ubud - jungle adventures and Bali’s inner world
The first days are spent in Ubud. From here we explore some of the island’s most special places, while leaving room to simply be — at a shared dinner, over a morning coffee or in a quiet moment in the heart of the jungle.

Second phase:
Two different worlds - which one will you choose?
In the middle section you choose between two very different experiences. One route is rawer, wilder and more active; the other is gentler, slower and closer to the sea. The group comes together again in Sanur at the end of the program.

Java is rawer, wilder and more intense. We’ll spend a few days near the Red Island at a surf camp where the ocean sets the pace. After a night trek to Ijen, we reach the crater at sunrise.

Pemuteran - North Bali Escape
The alternative route is gentler and softer. Pemuteran sits on Bali’s north coast, where you feel closer to nature. This is Bali’s quieter side.

To finish:
Sanur - the final shared days
For the last days the group reunites. Everything slows down a little here: beaches, shared dinners, beach clubs, an optional Nusa Penida boat trip and final evenings by the ocean.
